Zoo Berlin

Ein wirklich toller Zoo, vor allem bei gutem Wetter sehr empfehlenswert.

Had a great experience. The zoo has an interesting variety of animals (including the giant panda) and a large aquarium/terrarium. On a cold and rainy day most animals will be inside and you still have the opportunity to see them. The admission price is fair and thanks to the compactness of the zoo, you don't have to walk very far. On the other hand are the exhibits pretty small which makes me feel like the animals have very little space.

The most species rich zoo in the world. Located next to the zoo rail station in Berlin and easily accessible by local public transport from anywhere in the city. A very well kept zoo with lots of animals houses. Highlights include the monkey and great apes house and the giant pandas. Lots of historical buildings of interest like the giraffe and antelope house. Very good value for money and takes up to a day to see everything. You can buy a combination ticket for the aquarium as well.

The aquarium here is amazing. There are all kinds of sea creatures for you to goggle at. They have a huge central tank with lots of amazing deep sea fish, including sharks. And they have dozens of smaller tanks with meticulously designed flora, full of interesting creatures. It's absolutely great for kids. On the upper levels they have reptiles, amphibians, and - best of all - insects! See the creepiest ant colony EVER. I've been here 3 times and look forward to going again!

Absolutely brilliant day. Weather not great but that didn't affect the enjoyment. So many animals to see. Also great to see the staff engaging with the animals. Happened to be there at feeding time which was amazing. Would highly recommend visiting when in Berlin. Was amazing.

Even during winter months this zoo is wonderful place! We went there because the kids but enjoy the stay equally. Someone was thinking about all ages visitors. The pandas just arrived in the zoo and you can see many sights which remain you about the pandas motherland - China. Never miss the chance to visit aquarium.
